The son of an attorney, Bruce Kauffman was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania and went on to earn the Order of the Coif at Yale Law School in 1959. Mr. Kauffman became a trial attorney for the Philadelphia law firm, Dilworth, Paxson, Kalish & Kauffman where his clients ranged from Frank Sinatra to Donald Trump.
